Company Description

The Uganda Transit eVisa is intended for travellers passing through Uganda on their way to another country. Uganda’s official immigration guidance states that the transit visa is available online and allows a maximum stay of seven days. It cannot be extended after it expires. Applicants need a passport bio-data page with at least six months’ validity, a recent passport photograph and a yellow fever vaccination certificate. They must also provide a letter explaining the reason for transit and the destination country, together with proof that they have permission to enter that destination. The current official fee is US$50. Travellers should apply before their journey and make sure their onward travel arrangements are clear. If your itinerary involves leaving the airport or staying in Uganda for tourism, check whether an ordinary visitor visa rather than a transit visa is more appropriate.
